Greet the Saints –  That final chapter of Romans, word by word.  Home churches abound.  God sees and works within individual believers, not large groups.  The place of emotions in our lives, and why we’re not to be led by them.

Satan’s Justification  –  Satan always justifies his presence and influence, by pointing the finger at the flesh.  How to recognize and stand against this evil working.  Definitions of the evil energizings of the flesh detailed in Galatians 5.

God is not a Christian  –  Christianity cannot save us.  Only Christ.  A synopsis of all the will and working and purposes of God from Genesis 1:1 (the first verse in the Bible) to Revelation 22:21 (the last verse in the Bible).  If you know someone who is seeking truth but is turned off by the organized Christian Church, show them this study.

Holy Spirit Sanctification  –  The lie of the holiness doctrine, or second work of grace.  The difference between trying to make yourself holy by your works, and enjoying your gift of holiness provided by the Holy Spirit of God gifted to you.

Starve the Evil –  Starve the evil – Feed the good.  How to treat yourself as a composite being, causing the new man to grow and flourish and the old man to wither and die……over time.  How looking at your spiritual life and growth in the long term helps encouragement and minimizes discouragement.

The Gift of God’s Righteousness   –  What exactly is righteousness?  What is God’s righteousness?  Why is it important to the quality of our lives?  How do we get it and how does it improve our lives?  You’ll come to understand that God’s righteousness is absolutely,  impossible to earn, and yet it is completely and powerfully our very own to have and enjoy.

Vanity of the Mind   –  When your thoughts, words and/or deeds are merely an expression of your feelings, without a purposeful intent to accomplish something, this is vanity of the mind.  How mankind got this way, how it opens us up to all kinds of evil, and how we are delivered from this festering wound in our psyche.

The 2 Systems of God –  The vital and practical differences between the Old Testament and the New Testament.  What is common between them and what has drastically changed.  So that you will forever after be able to keep the two absolutely separate.

Power and Authority  –  All the power words of the New Testament.  Power, strength, might, authority …….. dunamis, ischus, kratos and exousia.  What they each mean and how they’re all related to each other in meaning and practice.  Plus some of my favorite power verses.

Christ’s Imminent Return  –   What will precipitate the beginning of the end of the world?  What is the order of events?  Will we go through the tribulation?  What will life be like after we are gathered together with Christ?  This study will fill you with comfort, hope and expectation.

About stevehartlaub@gmail.com

I'm a 73 year old spiritual adventurer in life, but I don't really get along with organized religion. I find it too passive, too worldly, too conforming, too powerless ... though I know many wonderful believers involved in it. I have been a seeker of Jesus Christ since 1974 in Ketchikan, Alaska. Very early into my spiritual journey, I came to the realization that I wouldn't be able to last long in this new Godly relationship without becoming able to understand the Bible. God supplied that need, and shortly thereafter I became interested in Biblical research ... Greek, word studies, HOW the Bible is designed to be understood, its customs, etc. I married Sharon in 1985 in Vancouver, Canada. I have 5 children - 3 girls, 2 boys....ages 30-36. All were homeschooled. 3 are happily married. I have 8 grandchildren. I have taught and studied the Word of God in informal gatherings in England, Scotland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Canada, Alaska, Nevada and all over the United States. In 2006 I became aware of God calling me into the revelation of the glorified Christ within, and I have been involved in making that revelation known since then. I recently moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas, after living in Fitchburg, Wisconsin (suburb of Madison) since 1990.. If you're ever in the area, please look me up. I am a retired house painter, and God is providing for my wife and I abundantly! I am meek to the instruction of God...which often occurs while another person is speaking! So don't be afraid to comment on any of these studies. Because my heart is open to my master teacher, Jesus Christ!
