Your Spiritual Home  –  How to make heaven your home today!  The description and benefits of heaven being your home and only spiritual allegiance.  The dangers of identifying with any group other than Christ’s body.  How Christ’s true ministers operate.

The Form of our Doctrine  – From Romans 6:17, which says that  “we obeyed from the heart the form of doctrine which was delivered unto us.”  What is that form of doctrine, and how does one obey it?  We take a look at the Greek word for form, tupos, and what it specifically means.  A contrast is made with the form of the law of Moses, and the form of the new, spiritual law.  In this case, form is important!

The Law vs. Faith   –  The terrible power of the bondage of the law of Moses is contrasted with the glorious freedom to be found in Christ.   In order to walk in that freedom, we must be free from the law!  From Galatians, this easy-to-understand study was done by Sierra Cole, a 19-year old college student.

How Christ is Building His Church  –  In Matthew 16:18, Jesus says to Peter,You are Peter, and upon this rock will I build my church…..”  Does this mean, like the Roman Catholic church teaches, that the church is built upon the popes?  Or does it mean something else?  By looking at context, we discover a fantastic truth.  Christ is building his church, one revelation of himself at a time!

Church Emasculation  –  The head pastor says God needs real men, and then he tells you to sit down and shut up!  He encourages you to be a bold witnesses for Jesus Christ, and then he chops you off at the knees for not getting his approval first, or for not “going through the proper channels.”  Jesus Christ does want men in his church, but only he can grow them!  What part are church leaders to play in your life, and what part are they never to take?

Spiritual Pinball –  When a pinball explodes out at the top of the machine, its path to the bottom is hindered by bumpers and flippers.  It’s sent flying off in different directions, causing a crazy, dizzying journey of unexpected consequences.  So are there impediments, some which are very strong, to living the simple, loving, powerful life in Christ.  And many of them have a religious tag on them.  Those who walk by the spirit will surely meet the disapproval of religious people…..Jesus promised it.

Different Gifts  –  No commentary, only scripture that deals specifically with the different gifts and with the different manifestations of the spirit which are evidenced in different believers’ lives, and how to get them ….. plus, the power which drives them all.

Learning to Recognize the Voice of God  –  Some of the specific qualities and characteristics of the voice of God, as presented by God’s Word itself.  It is just as important to know what is not the voice of God, as it is to know what is the voice of God.  Never be in doubt again.

Hyper Conquerors – a study of Romans 8 –  We go through this wonderful chapter word by word, line by line, verse by verse.  Some glorious truths are hereby set forth.  You’ll need your Bible in front of you for this one, because I don’t quote every single word of every verse.

Half a Gospel –  What good is a door, if you don’t to through it and beyond it?  Too many Christians stop at the cross, but that cross was a means to an end, and not the end itself.  There are definitely two aspects to the gospel.  One aspect happens in a moment of time, the other takes an eternity.  A great Bible study, that will have you looking for both halves of the gospel when you read the Scriptures.

About stevehartlaub@gmail.com

I'm a 73 year old spiritual adventurer in life, but I don't really get along with organized religion. I find it too passive, too worldly, too conforming, too powerless ... though I know many wonderful believers involved in it. I have been a seeker of Jesus Christ since 1974 in Ketchikan, Alaska. Very early into my spiritual journey, I came to the realization that I wouldn't be able to last long in this new Godly relationship without becoming able to understand the Bible. God supplied that need, and shortly thereafter I became interested in Biblical research ... Greek, word studies, HOW the Bible is designed to be understood, its customs, etc. I married Sharon in 1985 in Vancouver, Canada. I have 5 children - 3 girls, 2 boys....ages 30-36. All were homeschooled. 3 are happily married. I have 8 grandchildren. I have taught and studied the Word of God in informal gatherings in England, Scotland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Canada, Alaska, Nevada and all over the United States. In 2006 I became aware of God calling me into the revelation of the glorified Christ within, and I have been involved in making that revelation known since then. I recently moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas, after living in Fitchburg, Wisconsin (suburb of Madison) since 1990.. If you're ever in the area, please look me up. I am a retired house painter, and God is providing for my wife and I abundantly! I am meek to the instruction of God...which often occurs while another person is speaking! So don't be afraid to comment on any of these studies. Because my heart is open to my master teacher, Jesus Christ!
