The Form of our Doctrine – From Romans 6:17, which says that “we obeyed from the heart the form of doctrine which was delivered unto us.” What is that form of doctrine, and how does one obey it? We take a look at the Greek word for form, tupos, and what it specifically means. A contrast is made with the form of the law of Moses, and the form of the new, spiritual law. In this case, form is important!
The Law vs. Faith – The terrible power of the bondage of the law of Moses is contrasted with the glorious freedom to be found in Christ. In order to walk in that freedom, we must be free from the law! From Galatians, this easy-to-understand study was done by Sierra Cole, a 19-year old college student.
How Christ is Building His Church – In Matthew 16:18, Jesus says to Peter, “You are Peter, and upon this rock will I build my church…..” Does this mean, like the Roman Catholic church teaches, that the church is built upon the popes?
